This line is only allowed to make three bends, which is why this type of Connect game is sometimes also called Nikakudori (two angles road). Other names include Shisen-sho (Sichuan, onet, or Four Rivers), and 2D Mahjong connect (because the tiles are not stacked like in Mah-jongg).
