Geo-triggered audio walks by VUMA for BEK’s contribution to Future DiverCity
- a geo-triggered audio walk -
experience your city through our eyes
VUMA soner - “zones” in Norwegian, is full of sounds and stories from the culturally diverse communities in Scandinavia. These audio walks aim to reveal more about how we experience the physical cities we live in.
We hope to allow our neighbors to partake more fully in not just the struggles and fears, but the joys, the talent, the romance, and the laughs of our community.
VUMA believes in a Scandinavia where mutual understanding, respect, and affection thrive in and between all communities that make these countries.
Audio experiences are linked to GPS locations, and can only be experienced onsite, and will automatically play when you walk into the mapped zone of your selected walk. If your signal is weak in some areas, you can always download the walks onto your phone beforehand. Just be sure to keep your GPS on.
/ / Download for free, grab an umbrella, select your walk, and immerse yourself in our point of view. / /
Audio experiences will be created by VUMA contributors and can range from talks, audio novellas, playlists, and more.
