Since most cybersecurity professionals across the world originate from various other professions and are mostly self-taught, there has been no official schooling in the subject until now. With evergrowing technology advancements and the shifting nature of cyber-crime, a cybersecurity program is the need of an hour that can better equip students to combat today's cybercriminals.

Presently, it is also possible to pursue online cybersecurity courses, but they lack in providing practical knowledge and live project experience.
