Rozgar Mela is an event where a number of employers and job seekers come together for the purpose of providing and gaining employment. It is a strategy to fast-track interactions between job seekers and employers. Employers can get access to large pools of skilled candidates as well as candidates who are on their journey of up skilling. Companies participate in Rozgar Melas to screen candidates for existing or future job openings.

Candidates get the opportunity to meet a wide variety of employers from multiple industries and can find their way to new jobs or skilling opportunities.

Rozgar Melas are typically held in large assembly halls with a booth for each employer. Each booth displays company brochures and information about the organisation. At these booths, company representatives are present, to address queries by job seekers. Some companies decorate their booths with banners and signs. Rozgar Melas witness anywhere between 10 and 100 employers with several hundred job seekers. Even small Rozgar Melas can be busy events with lines of job seekers waiting to see company representatives.

This helps people who have gained relevant skillsets to find working prospects wherein they can apply what they have learnt, in real-time.
