3D Scanner

Scan large indoor and outdoor environments by pointing and moving your device similar to taking a video. The App will provide you a with a limited overview of the area covered while taking a scan. In order to experience the complete 3D model the data has to be uploaded to Voxxlr for further processing and visualization. Use the bottom right menu to navigate to the upload screen, save the scan and login using either Google or Facebook. If you do not yet have a Voxxlr account, one will automatically be created for you. Once logged in, upload the scan and then login at http://www.voxxlr.com to see the results a few moments later. There are are already thousands of scans on the site to give you an idea of what to expect.

The App supports four scanning resolutions ranging from 0.5cm to 2.0cm. For each resolution there is a different maximum scanning range which can be adjusted via the GUI. However, increasing the scanning range too much will impact the performance and can lead to crashes, especially at 0.5cm and 1cm.
