the Asian Cup final tournament will be contested by 24 teams : United Arab Emirates Qatar South Korea Japan Thailand Saudi Arabia Australia Uzbekistan Iran Syria Iraq China Palestine Oman India Lebanon Turkmenistan Jordan Bahrain Vietnam Kyrgyzstan North Korea Philippines Yemen.

The teams was grouped to 6 groups : Group A , Group B , Group C , Group D , Group E , Group F , each group has 4 teams and 2 first teams of each group will be qualified to the next round. four best third teams will advance to the knockout stage.
