Each country has its own distinctive clothing. Also included in some Arab countries. You must have known, men in Middle Eastern countries including the King of Saudi Arabia, King Salman, often seen wearing long white robe that is used for activities complete with a cover of his head.

The long white robe is called thawb or thobe which is a traditional dress in various Middle Eastern countries, ranging from Saudi Arabia, Morocco to Oman. In each country the term thawb is different. For example in Oman called by the name dishdasha, in UAE called kandoorah, while in Egypt called with galabeyya. Clothing that became the main item of Arab men is usually worn with white loose trousers called sirwal.
