Frequently Asked Questions

1. I didn’t download Babel Fonts, why it appears in my phone? Why BaBel Fonts cannot be uninstalled?

BaBel Fonts is a system app provided by manufacture in settings in part of models, and sometimes Google Play updates the apps automatically. So you will see it on the homepage after upgrade. Users of these models cannot uninstall Babel Fonts because it exists as a system app. System path: system settings - display - font style, low version app in system in your phone just has basic service and we provide better service in new version.

If you dont't need the BaBel Fonts, you can disable the app:

①. Open your device's Settings app Settings.

②. Tap Apps or Application manager.

③. Tap the app you want to uninstall. You may need to scroll to find the app.

④. Tap Uninstall or Disable.

2. What's root? Why is root needed?

The name root is the user name or account that by default has access to all commands and files on the Android operating system. Some phone models don’t have the function to change system fonts, so Babel Fonts also can’t change them until we have a higher permission by root.
