Un obiectiv, in afara de obiectul exact pe care este pusa claritatea, mai reda clar un spaţiu din fata si spatele acestuia. Acest spaţiu este mai mare sau mai mic, funcţie de diafragma si distanta focala si mai ales cercul de difuzie ales.
