Electronic communciation book (E-Commu-Book) is developed by Stanley Ho Big Data Decision Analytics Rsearch Centre, The Chinese University of Hong Kong and Human-Computer Communications Laboratory, Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
The aim of the E-Commu-Book is to help people with communication difficulties to interact with their families or friends. E-Commu-Book’s features includes:
- A collection of 218 images of daily used vocabulary 14 categories
- 13 languages with automatic text translation (Includes Chinese, English, etc)
- 20+ gender-specific accented voices (Includes Cantonese, Putonghua, English)
- Personalize the layout of user interface
- Support to add new vocabularies and categories
- Share and download new categories
