ஜெயகாந்தன் (ஏப்ரல் 24, 1934 - ஏப்ரல் 08, 2015) சிறந்த தமிழ் எழுத்தாளர்களில் ஒருவர். இந்திய அரசின் இலக்கியத்திற்கான உயர்ந்த விருதான ஞான பீட விருதைப் பெற்ற இரண்டாவது தமிழ் எழுத்தாளர். இவரது சிறு கதைகளை நாங்கள் தொகுத்து வழங்குவதில் மிகவும் பெருமை கொள்கிறோம். இந்தக் கதைகளை உங்கள் கைப்பேசியில் இலவசமாகப் பதிவிறக்கம் செய்து படித்துப் பயன் பெறுமாறு கேட்டுக் கொள்கிறோம். இதில் உள்ள ஒவ்வொரு சிறுகதைகளிலும் சமூகப் பிரச்சனைகளை மிக அழகாகவும், நேர்த்தியாகவும் எடுத்துக் கூறியுள்ளார் ஜெயகாந்தன்.
