Since 2019, a redeveloped and redesigned InControl Remote Version 2 has been available for download in all connected markets.

To ensure that our customers enjoy the latest features and benefits available, Version 1 of the InControl Remote App will be decommissioned and removed from app stores globally in July 2022.

- The latest UI, ongoing performance improvements and access to new features such as:

- Vehicle Lock Reminder, where if you leave your vehicle unlocked, you can opt in to an alert to inform you to secure your vehicle*

- Guardian Mode functionality (when your vehicle is fitted with Secure Tracker/Secure Tracker Pro)*

- Improved remote EV charging management*

- Additional remote features such as Remote Deep Clean* and Fuel-Operated Heating Selection*

- Send to Car, which allows routes to be sent remotely to the vehicle's navigation system*"

"Which features will not be supported by Remote App Version 2?

- Remote Seat Fold via the Remote App channel will no longer be available

- Apple Watch functionality will be temporarily unavailable, new V2 Apple Watch and iOS Widgets are planned to be released shortly"

[NEW] Starting after May 19, Remote App Version 1 users will be presented with an in-app notification instructing the user to upgrade to V2 within the next 60 days

[NEW] The first message shown to the user will change depending on the time period within the countdown that they access their InControl Remote App Version 1.

[NEW] There are different messages shown for 60–31 days, 30–1 days and the final day to help customers with the transition to Version 2.
