Meat and Poultry Soups and Chili

Whenever we want some warm and savory food, we think of soups and chilies. In winter, these are the foods that we seek for. It gives us taste as well as warmth. Once you cook it, you may eat them all day round. Just put them on oven and they would be warm. They can be used for eating anytime. They are healthy as well as delicious. In winter it could be the main preference for the eaters. Choose a soup among various meat and poultry soups and take a savory chili. Your appetite would be full.

Let’s see the recipes for exciting meat and poultry soup and chili as well.

Chicken noodles soup:

For the meat and poultry soup, we are taking poultry chicken noodles soup. Meat and poultry soup can be made with other meats such as beef, mutton, duck etc. first let’s see what would we need to make this soup. The ingredients are:

Three cups of chicken meat

Two cups of long egg noodles

One can chicken broth

One teaspoon of vegetable oil

One fourth cup of water

One third cup of cornstarch

One cup of chopped celery

One cup of chopped onion

One teaspoon poultry seasoning

Two tablespoons of salt

In a cooking pot take the water and the noodles and add some oil to it. Boil this for approximately eight minutes. When the noodles are boiled perfectly, take them off. Strain the water and keep the noodles in cool water. In another cooking pot, take the broth, all the spices and salt. Keep it for boiling. Add onions and celery to it. Keep cooking it for fifteen minutes in low heat. In the meantime, mix the cornstarch with water. Pour in the mixture in the soup while stirring. Finally add the noodles and chicken. Cook for some time and then serve.

Beef chili:

In order to making beef chili, we would need:

Two lbs beef

One can of drained pinto beans

One can of drained kidney beans

One fourth cup of green bell pepper

Two cups of chopped onion

One can of tomato juice

One can of tomato puree

Pinch of ground cayenne pepper

Half teaspoon of white sugar

Two teaspoons of ground cumin

One teaspoon of dried oregano

One fourth cup of chili powder

One teaspoon of salt

Half teaspoon of ground black pepper

Get a cooker and take some oil. Add the meats in the oil and brown them. Add all the other ingredients to it. Set the heat at very low flame. Keep the meat for cooking about eight hours. No need to stir continuously. But stir in some times so that it would not burn. Cooking for long time would make the beef soft. It takes a long time for cooking but its taste can beat that. So, enjoy the recipe now!
