Pioneer's development has been suspended for a new, more linear adventure game coming in 2017.

Catch hype!

This project is a pixel-art graphics role-playing game (RPG) in which you explore a strange land encapsulated by a mysterious barrier of light. Explore over 125 levels, battle cultists and survive in an unforgiving land.

There is only one objective: find the source of the light barrier and shut it down.

The means of achieving this will not be immediately clear. You will have to explore, learn and hone your skills to achieve your task.

A short gameplay tutorial is available on my website (see the link at the bottom of this page).

This project is still under development. New content will be added regularly.

I have never, ever tested this game on a tablet. The closest it has come is a Samsung Note 3. Currently, there seems to be a problem with 7 inch tablets- certain items do not display properly. This will be fixed in a future update.

This game is free software, based on the original PD project.

Please report any bugs you find, even if it doesn't cause a crash! Send me an email with the details. It sounds unlikely, but I like bugs in my game even less than you do.
