In addition to "the majesty and power of God", topics touched upon include: the Entered Apprentice, Fellow-Craft, and Master Mason Degrees; the Four Cardinal Virtues of Temperance, Fortitude, Prudence, and Justice; the primary tenets of Charity, Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth; the Five Orders of Architecture - Tuscan, Doric, Ionic, Corinthian, and Composite; the five human senses; the liberal arts and sciences; and the duties of a Freemason. The author wished to emphasize the divinely inspired and ethical occupation of the free and accepted Mason.

What is Freemasonry?

Freemasonry is the world's oldest and largest fraternity, comprised of adult men of good character who believe in a Supreme Being. Members are from every country, religion, race, age, income, and education level. Its body of knowledge and system of ethics is based on the belief that each man has a personal responsibility to improve himself while being devoted to his family, faith, country, and fellow brothers in the Masonic Lodge or Council.

Freemasonry (often called “Masonry”) enhances and strengthens the character of the individual man by providing opportunities for fellowship, charity, education, and leadership based on the three ancient Masonic tenets of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.
