For infection control and prevention, Acumen provides users with secure access to electronic tools such as those for isolation precaution and hand hygiene compliance. Users can stay connected to the latest trends in local epidemiology through the antibiograms populated via integration with WHONET and available in Acumen.
The tools within Acumen can be populated automatically, via integration with existing data sources such as the electronic health record and laboratory information systems, or by manual data entry from clinicians and staff.
