Poul is from Manila, Philippines and sings Ballads, Pop, Pop rock, Country, RnB, RnB/soul rock, Jazz, and more! He started singing at his very young age. Most of his families are in the music industry.

He was also a former member of first P-pop boyband in the philippines called "XLR8" and won an award giving body of GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards as Most Promising Recording/Performing Group in 2011.
