TouchDown Venus (Unreleased)

An early version of our TouchDown application with a simplified user experience

Venus is an alpha preview of the next iteration of the TouchDown application. This application is intended only as a preview and to gather feedback from users. The following is a list of changes in this preview.

1. After configuration is complete, and the application is restarted, you'll be taken straight to the Email list view

2. The legacy home screen has been removed from the application

3. The email list, detail, compose and other screens relating to email have been updated. The task views are a work in progress.

4. Swipe left and right actions are now available on the email list view

5. Compose screen has been updated for a new look and behavior

6. To switch between folders as well as to switch between email and other areas such as contacts and calendar, swipe from the left edge of the screen

7. Settings can be accessed by swiping left from the edge of the screen when in email view or other list views and clicking the settings button on the bottom left side of the navigation bar that opens up

8. The about screen, diagnostics and licensing sections are now accessible from the settings screen

9. To select multiple emails, tap on the circle on the left side of each email row

This preview can be installed side by side with other versions of TouchDown. If you have a license key for TouchDown, it can be applied to activate this version as well by going to settings. If you purchased the TouchDown license key from the play store, this version will be automatically licensed.

Note that this version is NOT intended to use in an MDM controlled environment and MDMs may not be able to configure or manage this preview version.
