The first 24-hour entertaining and music television channel Tugan Tel was founded in 2009 in Ufa city. The first broadcast took place on March 24. The channel’s concept is aimed at the preservation of Tatar and Bashkir languages and at their adaptation to modern conditions by means of music and entertaining format. Tugan Tel shows round-the-clock all the celebrities of Bashkir and Tatar variety, new and viewers’ favorite music videos, concert, music, comic programs, TV and feature films made by film studios of Bashkortostan Republic and Tatarstan Republic, teleplays, popular cartoons in Tatar and Bashkir languages.
