About VR In the shoes of a child wit

Empathizing with Dyslexia

Virtual reality has a clear impact when it comes to developing emotions, especially Empathy. It is able to immerse you into someone else’s situation.

We have developed this project with the objective of sensibilizing children, teachers and parents about Dyslexia. It affects around 10% of the children in the world, interfering with reading, writing abilities and even sometimes their speech. This project aims to help create a more inclusive environment.

Our app simulates a situation where a child has dyslexia. First we see the classroom and then we visit the home environment. We get to see different points of view showing the learning difficulties and frustrations they go through.,

Requirements:

Version minimum system: Android 4.4. It is necessary to have a mobile phone with a gyroscope and a Virtual Reality headset. There is no need for a remote. It is advised to use a phone that is considered medium or high range.
