About Catch It

Catch It can help you better understand your moods through an ongoing diary.

Catch It is a joint project between the Universities of Liverpool and Manchester, to help users better understand their moods through use of an ongoing diary.

The app was designed to illustrate some of the key principles of psychological approaches to mental health and well-being, and specifically Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

It is not intended to be a substitute for professional mental health care, therapy or advice. If you are worried about any aspects of your mental health, you should approach a professional.

We're excited to bring you a major update with improved features and performance.

By choosing to share anonymous usage data, you can contribute to the University of Liverpool's mental health research. The app remains free to use even if you decide not to share your data.

Existing users can update the app without uninstalling the old version to keep previous diary entries. You then can choose any PIN.

We hope you enjoy the new version of Catch It!
