In 1981 the historic pizzeria Al Mattarello D'oro was born in Via della Bufalotta 292.

The owner Giovanni Amadei continues to delight us today with his creations.

The workhorse are the famous supplì al telephone, a recipe that is handed down from generation to generation.

The latter is jealously guarded by the two sons who, following in their father's footsteps, have made it a true passion, dedicating themselves daily to the processing of them to thus maintain the quality and freshness of a genuine and inimitable product.

Our Supplì are handcrafted every night, using local raw materials and quality products. The handwork enhances its goodness, thus preserving the integrity and careful selection of the ingredients.

Another very important quality is the lightness of the breading. We don't use egg but simply water and flour. The fame of our products has reached very high levels: we were guests of Eataly for the "Supplì Festival" and "Riso nel Mondo"
